National Security Archive

The National Security Digital Archive is a database of declassified documents of the United States Federal Government.  The scope of the archives includes, “42 collections consisting of over 103,000 meticulously indexed documents, with more than 719,000 total pages.” This material relates to diplomatic initiatives and intelligence operations including those on the Korean Peninsula, Afghanistan, China, Iran, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and civil strife across Latin America.  The database is searchable and is also organized into topical collections, all the documents in the collection are available in full text.
