ODY Service Desk Student Employees are the first line of support for technology and library material needs in the ODY Library. We hire new students at the end of each semester for employees to start working the following semester. We advertise open positions on SLUWire and interested candidates should be on the lookout for that notification and submit an application when positions are open. Instructional Technology Apprenticeship Program (ITAP)

ITAP is a paid 1-year on-campus position (5-8 hrs/wk, flexible schedule) for students interested in understanding teaching, learning, and technology. In addition to working with the Educational Technologies team at St. Lawrence, students participate in a collaborative online program with IT leadership, technologists, and student apprentices at Colgate University, Hamilton College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Skidmore College, and Union College. Students in ITAP gain valuable networking opportunities and develop skills in communication, project management, and technology. No prior technology skills are needed, just a desire to learn!

Student Mail Center
Student Mail Center student employees handle all student mail coming to and originating from campus. The students are trained assist in mailing letters and packages as efficiently as possible.
