The Skinny Show features works by current students in the Department of Fine Arts. Located in the Richard F. Brush Art hallway gallery, the show features a selection of work from a variety of studio courses.
Fine arts faculty selected work that represents the most innovative work being produced in various areas and courses, including printmaking, ceramics, digital media, drawing, independent studies, senior year projects, special topics courses, and abroad programs.
The work selected represents a variety of aesthetic concerns and artistic processes, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary. While there is no overarching theme to the exhibition, the works are connected through their shared ingenuity and inventiveness.
There will be a gallery reception for the artists on Friday, April 30, starting at 4:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
