My name is Xiaolan Wang and I graduated in 2018 at St. Lawrence University. I really enjoy my time there and appreciated the experience. I studied environmental science because I wanted to improve the air quality in China. After graduating and working, I realized that Chengdu’s companies and government has started to become more environmentally conscience, adopting wider usage of renewable energy, for example. I have continued my education with a Master of Environment in Energy Efficiency Modelling and Implementation, in Melborne Australia. I believe that changing from a nonrenewable society to a renewable society is the most suitable way to manage energy shortage and guarantee stability and prosperity.
