Please join our panel of experts to discuss China’s Rise and its Implications
As the second largest economy in the world today, China is predicted to overtake the U.S. within the next thirty years. This panel reflects on the following interrelated topics related to China’s rise: the effect of China’s rise on the global community, particularly U.S.–China trade relations and the specific case of the Chinese global telecommunications company, Huawei; China’s rise in the family of one Laurentian; the impact of China “debt diplomacy”; and China’s influence and implications in strategically important countries such as Sri Lanka, South Sudan, and Canada.
