Shipley Center for Innovation on Campus

Calling All Innovators and Entrepreneurs!!

Have you thought of a great new business concept, but you're not sure where to start?  Are you interested in pursuing a new business on campus, or applying a recent innovation for social good?  Or do you just like free dessert?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, please continue reading for more information about an upcoming campus event!

On March 30th, the St. Lawrence University Career Connections Department, in partnership with Clarkson University's Shipley Center for Innovation, will host an event that will help explore ways to make your idea a reality.  Students from Clarkson's Shipley Center will share their experiences applying innovation and entrepreneurship to real world projects, followed by an opportunity for open discussion. If you aren’t ready to openly share your idea, you’ll be able to chat privately with a Shipley Center representative.

This event is intended to bring together students who share a desire to apply innovation and entrepreneurship skills to a new business, to the St. Lawrence campus, or to any other organization or institution that you may be working with.  You do not need to have a new business idea to attend this event!  Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn how you can apply the principles of innovation and entrepreneurship in your daily life.  The Shipley Center will be available to provide ongoing support (free of charge) to student-led projects long after this initial meeting.

The event will be held in Rm. 336 in the Sullivan Student Center at 7pm on March 30th.  Dessert will be provided!
