Elle Gray '19

Career Services Intern

Elle Gray is a Junior at St. Lawrence pursuing an Environmental Studies and Government combined major with Statistics and Spanish minors.  She was born in Anchorage, Alaska and has lived in the state all her life, now residing in Sitka, Alaska.  She became interested in Environmental Studies specifically because she has been surrounded by nature as long as she can remember and developed a passion for preserving its beauty wherever she could.  Elle plans to work in the environmental sustainability field as a sustainable consultant or a mitigation researcher.  Elle joined the Career Services team this year because she wanted to help students find opportunities and thrive in their chosen field of interest, just like Career Services did for her.  She became engaged in Career Services after she edited her resume with a Career Services Intern, attended the Young Women’s Leadership Conferences for the past two years, and participated in SLU Connect Boston in the Spring of 2017.  When she is not doing schoolwork, or working in the Career Services Office, Elle plays on the St. Lawrence softball team, works as a Community Mentor for Community Based Learning, minds the budget of Alpha Phi Omega as its Treasurer, and volunteers at the local elementary/middle school as the President of SLU Buddies.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking, canoeing, and embarking on weekend adventures.
