Arianda Tiburcio, a current sophomore and a first-year intern in Career Services, hails from Bronx, New York. She intends to major in psychology with a public health minor. Arianda would like to pursue a career as a medical esthetician to better the physical appearance of patients that may have suffered an illness and to help boost their emotional state of being. Arianda is a part of several clubs on campus such as Carefree Black Girls and La Sociedad Hispana, as she is proud of her Latin heritage. Her intention is to explore her field of study and next summer, do research that pertains to the human skin and how it functions. Arianda is very excited to see what else SLU has in store for her, and more importantly, eager to work with students hands on in Career Services to prepare them for future opportunities.
