Class year:
Art & Art History (studio)
Newton, MA

I am from Newton, Massachusetts a suburb right outside of Boston. I attended Newton South High School before coming to St. Lawrence. Deciding to come to SLU was a pretty easy decision as my mother was a Saint as well. She graduated in 1985 along with a bunch of my friend’s parents. My brother also attends SLU as a member of the class of 2021. In high school my time was mostly taken up by working at a local pub. My main interests involve music and art.

When I am not in the studio, I am probably either at the Java Barn or hanging out with friends listening to music. Being a member of the Java Barn is really where my hobbies all come to life, considering I make all the social media promotions and get to interact with bands and go to shows, I pretty much get to do everything I love while being there. My subsequent hobbies include cooking and watching movies, although I have less time to do those things when busy here at St. Lawrence.

Last semester I focused on developing my style of painting, which derived from my love of graphic design. The works that I make are very posterized and simple, yet include carefully selected details. I am more interested in social commentary issue, I enjoy designing the simple graphic bright color style. I would like to pursue an art and design career.
