St. Lawrence University’s faculty and staff are working hard to prepare courses and campus for students returning for the Fall 2020 semester.
The health and safety of our community are our priorities. St. Lawrence’s plan requires every Laurentian to make decisions every day that will protect themselves and others.
This website outlines St. Lawrence’s plan for the 2020-2021 academic year. Details and announcements will be added as decisions are made throughout the summer and year. The University reserves the right to decide up until Friday, August 14, that the college can proceed with plans as described.
When considering options, every decision made is being guided by these principles:
- St. Lawrence remains committed to its mission: to provide an inspiring liberal arts experience for students from all over the world who come here with purpose and promise.
- The safety and well-being of our entire campus community remains our top priority.
- Decision making will be made as inclusive and equitable as possible and in consultation with stakeholders and local public health officials and in accordance with guidance from federal and state agencies.
- Flexibility and innovation will be required, which extends to our responsibility for the long-term strength of the institution.
