St. Lawrence in the Fall

Friday, October 17, 2014

Autumn is my favorite time of year and there is nothing more beautiful than St. Lawrence in the fall. The leaves turn all sorts of wonderful colors: reds, oranges, browns, and yellows! There are also great events on campus. My favorite is called Fall Festival; it takes place every autumn and is sponsored by our Outing Club. The Outing Club organizes an afternoon filled with pumpkin carving, chainsaw carving demonstrations, cider donuts, caramel apples, pie eating, and much more! Campus is just over an hour from the Adirondack Mountains so it's easy to enjoy the incredible fall foliage they have to offer. When I have the time, I love to head to the mountains for an afternoon hike. The pictures accompanying this post show some of my favorite things about St. Lawrence in the fall!
