One of the North Country’s most notable aspects are its breathtaking sunsets. Being on campus for the summer working as an Admissions Summer Intern afforded me the opportunity to take in the beauty of SLU’s campus and its surrounding areas more than I ever have before.
The St. Lawrence Blog
Who is St. Lawrence University? We are a group of people with countless adventures and even more stories. The St. Lawrence Blog gives our students, faculty and staff the chance to tell their tales, in their own words and in their own way. Sharing these anecdotes in one place gives our community the chance to show how creative, daring and passionate we are about what we do. Alone, these stories are powerful; together they define St. Lawrence.

Beyond a Textbook: My Summer Program in Israel
I was never much of a rule breaker, but violating international law might’ve had to be an exception. In front of me was a large, 10-foot-tall sign prohibiting the entrance into Area A fully controlled by the Palestinian Authority, in Arabic, Hebrew, and English.

Cooking up a Batch of Fun with the Campus Kitchens Project
There’s nothing quite like getting together with a group of friends and whipping up a delicious meal. Taking a few hours away from schoolwork to chop some veggies, slice some meat and mix cookie dough to create a spectacular dinner is certainly a worthwhile experience. But the icing on the cake is that this food gets to go back to the Canton community. This grand show of preparing, cooking and serving a meal in town is what the Campus Kitchens Project (CKP) is all about.
