“ I knew after graduating that I wanted to be a teacher.
The world of academia is where I am influential and where I can
make an impact on the lives of others.” For this reason, in
talking about St. Lawrence as an institution, she praises the fact
that good teaching is valued and awarded. “There is a great
balance between teaching and the opportunity to do meaningful research.”
She also mentions the small class sizes and her ability to work
closely with students of all abilities as another highlight of St.
Lawrence University.
