"St. Lawrence prepared me well for the real world, by teaching me how to process information, not just regurgitate it. The Saints Network of alumni is also very strong, and my first job came from an alumni connection.   I am a volunteer because I want other students to have a great St. Lawrence experience like I did. I think it's important for alumni to stay involved, and help the faculty and administration make the best decisions possible as they steer the campus community to the future. While current students provide much value with their experiences, it is important to also take into account the experiences of former students, so that we can make St. Lawrence a better place."
