St. Lawrence Adds New Pre-health Chemistry Major St. Lawrence University has added a new bachelor’s degree program in pre-health chemistry, providing a dynamic curriculum that allows students to meet the requirements of health-specific post-baccalaureate programs and gain practical research experience to begin a career in the field right after graduation.

St. Lawrence University Campus Space Named to Honor Longtime Administrator Lisa Mazzola Cania “Laurentian for Life” Lisa Mazzola Cania M’82, P’07, was honored on Sept. 10 with the rededication of the Alumni Council Campus Room, on the third floor of the Sullivan Student Center, in her name.

Faculty Focus–September 19, 2022 Faculty members put their knowledge into action so students and others are able to benefit from it. Recently, faculty published journal articles and book chapters and shared their expertise at international conferences.

The Campbell Brothers Concert Wed, Sep 21 at 7:30pm - 1 hour Java Barn During this inaugural concert in celebration of the Ken Okoth '01 Black American Music Project, the Campbell Brothers will present an evening concert on Wednesday, Sept. 21 and two masterclasses on Thursday, September 22, at 12:00 and 2:30 pm in Peterson Kermani Hall.

Gallery Talk with Patty Hudak Tue, Sep 27 at 4:30pm - 1 hour Richard F. Brush Art Gallery In conjunction with the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery exhibition, Wood Paper Ink, award-winning artist Patty Hudak will give a gallery talk.

Here We Go, Saints Challenge Success Thanks to the generosity of the Laurentian community,  Saints Athletics more than doubled its goal of 1,000 donors and together with the Laurentian community, raised over $550,000 in support of St. Lawrence student-athletes.

Top Flights for the Saints, Fall Sports Continue Saints men's and women's tennis teams dominated the competition this weekend. The tandem of Catherine Gamble '23 and Molly Jespersen '23 won the flight A Championship over Union at the St. Lawrence Invitational while Edvin Strandberg '25 came away with the B flight, and Broderick Pinto '25 won the C flight over Union to lead the men's tennis team at the Dutchmen Invitational. The wins continued with Saints women's rowing opening its season with a first-place win over Mount Holyoke while first-year Matthew Serrano won the Kangaroo Invitational 8k to lead the men's cross country team to the title. The field hockey team secured 1-0 home opener win over Oswego while the volleyball team defeated Medaille College 3-2 after beating Utica 3-2.  For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.
