The Office of Communications at St. Lawrence
University has a three-fold mission.
1) Name Recognition for the University
Everything we do in our office contributes to audience recognition
of St. Lawrence's name. We form an accurate and positive impression
for prospective students, alumni, parents, visitors to the campus,
and the general public.
2) Recognizing the Market Position of the University
In this office, we must answer two questions, what are St. Lawrence's
distinctions and where does the University fit within the higher
education community?
3) Reputation Enhancement of St. Lawrence University
By providing the most accurate information possible and listening
to many different groups, we attempt to assure that St. Lawrence's
reputation remains accurate and positive.
In this office, we are constantly
working towards these goals, striving to portray St. Lawrence as
an institution dedicated to providing an inspiring and demanding
education in the liberal arts.
