Campus Events The Winston Room, formerly the Laurentian Room, in the Student Center, was dedicated to Chair of the Board Larry Winston and Sally A. Winston, at ceremonies February 25. Pianist Gustavo Tolosa will present a workshop and concert during St. Lawrence University's Piano Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6. The workshop will be on Saturday, March 5, at 11 a.m. in Gilbert Recital Hall, Griffiths Arts Center, and the concert will be on Sunday, March 6, at 2 p.m., also in Gilbert Recital Hall. Rick Bass, author of 18 books of fiction and non-fiction, will speak and read from his work in an appearance at St. Lawrence University on Thursday, March 10, at 8 p.m. in Eben Holden. The event, part of the St. Lawrence Writers Series, is open to the public, free of charge. Full story

A workshop on identifying and reporting child abuse and maltreatment will be held at St. Lawrence University on Tuesday, March 29, from 4 to 6:45 p.m. in Atwood Hall, Room 31. Full story

Scholarship and Achievements Fifteen members of the Model United Nations at St. Lawrence participated in the Harvard National Model United Nations Conference held in Boston in February, 2005. Full story
