The Saints men's hockey team is hoping a big road weekend sweep of ECAC foes will jump start their season in a stretch run. On Friday, the Saints beat Dartmouth 4-2 and got an overtime goal from George Hughes '13 to down Harvard 4-3 on Saturday. Women's hockey lost 3-2 in overtime to No. 2 Harvard and downed Dartmouth 2-1. Both the men's and women's track and field teams took first place at the Springfield Invitational. The Alpine ski team had three skiers place in the top 10 at the Colby Carnival. For Nordic skiing, Kelsey Nichols '13 placed in the top 25 for the third straight race. Women's basketball saw its 11-game win streak end in a tough 66-65 loss at Union, but bounced back to down RPI 79-67. Men's basketball lost 83-62 at Union, but downed RPI 68-52. Both swimming and diving teams lost to Hartwick at home. Women's squash went 1-2 at the Smith Round Robin. More Saints Sports |
