| SLU String Orchestra To Perform Bach Works In Concert The St. Lawrence University String Orchestra, under the direction of Christian Hosmer, will present a concert program entitled "Bach, Back to Back" featuring a variety of works by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) on Sunday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall on campus. | Voice of America's website published an essay by Assistant Professor of History Howard Eissenstat, titled "Turkey's Crackdown on Academic Freedom," on its Middle East Voices page on November 19. The essay was also published as a blog post by Amnesty International. |
| Alimot Yusuff '16 was interviewed by New York City NBC affiliate Channel 4 on November 15, discussing oyster restoration efforts of The Harbor School and The Nature Conservancy. Yusuff is an alumna of both The Harbor School and The Nature Conservancy's Leaders in Environmental Action for the Future (LEAF) Program which provides paid environmental conservation internships for students who attend select urban environmental high schools. The St. Lawrence men's hockey team played a pair of non-league games in Boston Thanksgiving weekend, beating Northeastern 5-2 Friday and dropping a 4-0 decision at Boston University on Saturday. The Saints return to ECAC action this weekend at Colgate and Cornell. More Saints Sports |
