| Trustees Accept Facilities Master Plan For Campus Development The St. Lawrence University Board of Trustees accepted a new Facilities Master Plan during its fall meeting on Saturday, October 20. The plan, which was developed with extensive input from the campus community, will guide the renewal, renovation and adaptation of the campus in the coming decades, aligning support and use for physical space needs with teaching, learning and campus life. Music for Halloween will be performed by St. Lawrence University Musician-in-Residence Sondra Goldsmith Proctor on Friday, October 27, at 12:15 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel in a celebrations for every age. The American Shakespeare Center brings its "Tempt Me Further" tour to St. Lawrence University for performances of Twelfth Night, Love's Labours Lost and The Duchess of Malfi October 25 through 28. Tickets, at $5 each, are on sale in the Brewer Bookstore and Sullivan Student Center on campus. It's lab day for students in Forensic Anthropology, taught by Visiting Assistant Professor Mindy Pitre. Students have to learn how to record and catalogue a site, as they would have to if they were involved in an anthropological dig. Many profs would lay down a grid on a spot of land and assign students a square, with plants, wildlife, soil, etc. making up the items on their logs. Not so with Pitre. For more |

Saints Athletics |
Women's cross country won its fifth straight New York State Championship by placing all five of its runners in the top seven, while men's cross country placed second with Sam Rakoc '13 finishing first overall. Men's hockey continued its strong start in beating Maine 5-0 and 5-1. Kyle Flanagan '13 and Greg Carey '14 are 1 and 2 in the country in scoring for the Saints. Men's soccer rallied from a 2-0 deficit with three goals in the final seven minutes against RIT to solidify its Liberty League playoff hopes. Women's soccer beat Oswego 1-0, but lost to RIT 2-1. Football dropped a 33-20 decision to Springfield, while field hockey lost 7-1 to Skidmore. Volleyball beat Union but lost to Clarkson, Skidmore and RIT. More Saints Sports |
