| Lectures & Films At SLU Address Safe Schools, Social Justice, 'Filmmaking For Change' Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Debra Chasnoff, whose work has fueled progressive social-change movements in a variety of fields, will be in residence at St. Lawrence University October 23 through 25, as a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow. She will visit classes and offer a public lecture series addressing safe schools, social justice advocacy and filmmaking for change. All of the lectures, part of the University's Contemporary Issues Forum, are open to the public, free of charge. For more |

Men's hockey opened the regular season with a trip to No. 9 Western Michigan and came away with a 4-3 overtime win and a 3-2 loss. Kyle Flanagan '13 opened his senior season with three goals and an assist on the weekend. Women's hockey opened at Appleton Arena against No. 1 Minnesota and dropped both games, 5-0 and 6-0. Women's tennis ended its fall season at the New York State Championships with two doubles teams and two singles players reaching the seminfinals. Men's soccer played to a scoreless tie with RPI and lost 1-0 to Union. Women's soccer lost 2-1 to Union and 3-1 to RPI. Volleyball went 1-3 at the Ithaca Tournament.
