SLU Included In 2013 Edition Of 'Fiske Guide To Colleges'
St. Lawrence University has been included in the Fiske Guide to Colleges 2013, which selects only 300 of the more than 2,200 four-year colleges in the United States, Canada and Great Britain to profile. The book provides a snapshot of each school's "personality," based on a broad range of subjects, including student body, academics, social life, financial aid, campus setting, housing, food and extracurricular activities.

St. Lawrence ODK Circle Wins Award At National Summit
St. Lawrence University's Omicron Delta Kappa Circle, Kalon-Kixioc, was recognized as a Superior Circle by the ODK National Leadership Honorary Society Board for 2011-2012 at the national conference, held in June at UNC Charlotte.

Summer Scholars Attend McNair Research Conference
St. Lawrence McNair Scholars, a University Fellow and CSTEP students attended the 18th annual University of Buffalo McNair Research Conference, held in July in Niagara Falls. Thirteen St. Lawrence students attended, with 10 presenting research. About 500 undergraduates from around the country attended.

Steve Goldman '13 Presents Research At Astronomy Conference
Steve Goldman '13 presented the results of his summer physics research at a conference titled "Star Formation and Gas Reservoirs in Nearby Groups and Clusters" at Union College in July. Funded by a National Science Foundation grant for undergraduate research, Goldman has been working with Priest Associate Professor of Physics Aileen O'Donoghue, who also attended the conference.
