St. Lawrence University Assistant Professor of Biology Susan Willson has been awarded a $2,500 grant by the Northern New York chapter of the Audubon Society for continued study on a project called "Bird-Friendly Hayfields as Refugia for North Country Grassland Birds." Men's lacrosse scored five unanswered goals, including three by Pierson Fowler '14, in the fourth quarter to gain a 9-5 victory over RPI. Women's lacrosse lost 10-6 at Union and 13-8 at William Smith. Men's golf placed fourth at the Palomountain Invitational, led by Jack Whelan '15 in second place. Women's golf was led by Aimee Caligiore '13 who placed fourth at the Jack Leaman Invitational. Men's tennis beat Nazareth 5-4 and lost to RIT 6-3 and Hamilton 7-2. Women's tennis beat RIT 7-0. Women's track won the Liberty League championship as Kristen Linder '14 and Hannah Kinsey '14 were named the outstanding track and field performers. Men's track was third at the Liberty League Championships, paced by Jarell Roberts '12 who was named the outstanding track athlete at the meet. More Saints Sports |
