An opinion piece by Horwitz, on creating jobs versus creating value, appeared in the Waterbury, CT, Republican-American on February 12. |
| St. Lawrence's announcement that biology and chemistry classes from SUNY Canton, unable to use their facilities due to a fire on that campus, will use labs in Bewkes was covered by the Watertown Daily Times, Northern New York Newspapers, North Country Public Radio, WWNY-7 News and YNN/Channel 10. |

Men's squash went 2-1, beating Middlebury and Williams 5-4 and losing to Penn, 5-4, at the Hoehn Cup, giving the Saints their best-ever placement, at third. Women's hockey once again gave No. 3 Cornell a tough game, but dropped a 3-2 decision in the final regular season game. The Saints, who beat Colgate 6-0 last week, will be at Dartmouth in the ECAC quarterfinals starting Feb. 24. Men's hockey beat Colgate 3-2 Friday, but saw its five-game win streak end Saturday with a tough 4-3 overtime loss to Cornell. Alpine skiing finished fourth in the giant slalom; Ashley-Kate Durham '13 and Caroline Barry '14 netted top-10 finishes at the Williams Carnival. For nordic skiing, Caroline Carpenter '12 and Eric Lustgarten '14 earned top-15 finishes. More Saints Sports |
