| Two SLU Students Win Intercultural Leadership Awards For Study In Denmark Two St. Lawrence students who studied in Denmark during the fall 2011 semester received the Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS) Intercultural Leadership Award. Dylan Cutler '12 and Johanna Kelley '13 both earned the recognition by demonstrating how they became immersed in Danish culture and were challenged by their experiences. For more |

Titled "Just Win, Baby," the article analyzes the impact of four different systems for awarding points based on the outcomes of games, such as winning in regulation or losing in a shootout. |

Ashley-Kate Durham '13 became the first woman in alpine skiing history to take first place in an event at an EISA Carnival competition Friday, when she finished first in the giant slalom at the University of Vermont Winter Carnival. Loudon Furth '15 finished eighth for the men in the slalom. For the nordic skiing squad, Caroline Carpenter '12 finished 11th for the second straight week. A week after its worst weekend of the season, men's hockey turned it around with a sweep at Yale and Brown. Friday, Greg Carey '14 scored in overtime to give the Saints a 4-3 win at Yale. Saturday, the Saints rallied from a 3-0 first-period deficit to down Brown 5-3. Women's hockey also swept, beating Yale 6-2 and Brown 3-1. Women's basketball clinched the Liberty League regular season crown with three games to play by downing William Smith 78-60 and RIT 77-37. Men's basketball extended its win streak to five games with wins over Hobart, 65-62, and RIT, 80-70. Swimming swept its final home meet of the weekend against Utica College, with the women winning 147-78 and men claiming a 133-79 victory. Track and field was at the Hamilton Invitational, with both the men and women seeing four athletes take first place in events. More Saints Sports |
