Volleyball won all four of its matches in Liberty League action, defeating Union, Bard, Skidmore and Vassar as St. Lawrence kicked off the Power of Pink week, a week of efforts to raise awareness of and funds for the fight against breast cancer. Men's soccer held onto its spot atop the national rankings with wins at Bard (5-0) and Vassar (1-0) to improve to 10-0. Women's soccer tied Vassar 1-1 and beat Bard 3-0 to run its unbeaten streak to six games. Women's hockey opened its season with an impressive 6-3 non-league win over rival Clarkson Saturday. Friday, the Saints dropped a 2-1 decision to McGill University. Men's hockey lost a scrimmage game to Carleton 5-2. Field hockey won a pair of games, 3-1 over St. John Fisher and 2-1 over Nazareth. Women's tennis shut out Plattsburgh 9-0. Men's golf placed third at the ECAC Upstate and Metro Championship. Football was unable to get its offense going in a 23-0 loss at Hobart.
