The Class of 2014 began their official lives at St. Lawrence on Sunday, with Matriculation. They will learn more at Orientation, which continues through Tuesday, and when classes begin Wednesday.

|'U.S. News & World Report' Lists St. Lawrence Among Best Colleges
St. Lawrence University has risen one spot in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of national liberal arts colleges, just released. St. Lawrence University is Number 55 among the 266 best, most prestigious liberal arts colleges in the nation. That ranking places the University in the top 20 percent of its peer group.
|St. Lawrence Offers New Major In Environmental Studies/Mathematics
Recognizing the importance of statistical data analysis, mathematical modeling and computer simulation in the study of environmental science, St. Lawrence University has received approval for a new combined major program in environmental studies/mathematics. It is available to students starting with the fall 2010 semester.

For the third straight year, St. Lawrence University has honored its commitment to purchasing a minimum of 15 percent of its electricity from renewable sources.

A production of The Dybbuk by Julia Pascal, a faculty member in St. Lawrence's program of study in London, is running in New York this summer, as part of the Dream Up Festival. This represents the work's U.S. debut.
