Exhibition On Cultural Landscapes, 'Deep Looking,' At SLU's Brush Gallery
An exhibition titled "Deep Looking: Cultural Landscapes in Photography and Film" will be in the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence University August 16 through October 6. It includes works from the University's Permanent Collection, as well as from artists Gary Braasch, Edward Burtynsky and Margot Anne Kelley.

Meredith Kenney '12, of Rensselaerville, NY, and Emma Kearney '12, of Rush, NY, participated in environmental research in Alaska this summer, with Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Jon Rosales. With funding assistance from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation grant for the Environmental Education Initiative for Active Learning, Research and Advocacy, the trio went to two native villages experiencing environmental challenges caused by climate change.
