NEW FEATURES!
Student Views Videos, by Kelsey Fraser '09
Student Views videos are produced and edited entirely by current St. Lawrence students. This semester, Kelsey Fraser '09 produces a weekly segment. This week, she interviews three student teams who helped coordinate community service projects on campus this past weekend.
(Note: this video has some technical issues related to the camera used. Because the video shows scenes from campus events and we could not re-shoot, we are sharing it with you even as we try to resolve the technical issues for next week!)
Suggestions and ideas for future student-produced videos are welcome. Contact Lisa Cania or Mark Mende with your suggestions
The Spring issue of the St. Lawrence magazine is entitled The Chronicle of a Legacy, and features highlights of the ways
St. Lawrence has grown and been strengthened in the years 1996-2009. As a special web-only feature, view our photo album: A Photographic Tribute to the Sullivan Legacy.
UPDATES
A new podcast is posted: In news coverage of the current economic situation, writers frequently compare today with the Great Depression. Dana Professor of Economics Steven Horwitz has been looking at the similarities and differences of the two eras, and discusses a time when Laurentian Owen D. Young cautioned against "governing from anger," in much the same way that President Obama has talked about that theme.Visit our podcasts page to listen on-line or download.
SLU Live! includes features such as the Laurentian
