Hassan Raza '11 and Jim Mayers '11 produced this piece in the spring, and hope to be producing more student perspectives over the next year. Summer blogs: Blake Carbone '09, Josh Johnson '10, Hassan Raza '11 and Tsewang Lama '10 blogged over the summer. Read about their various on-campus and off-campus experiences.
Admissions Counselors Bridget Everly and John Gursky are also blogging: I took our six interns to Ottawa for the day! Due to its close proximity to campus, our students, faculty and staff frequently pay visits to Ottawa. (It only takes 1.5 hours to get to downtown Ottawa from Canton—you will need a passport or a birth certificate to cross the border). If you attend St. Lawrence, I can guarantee at least one of your classes will involve a field trip to Ottawa....If you have not been to Ottawa, it is a “must do” if you visit campus and have time to make the jaunt. As you can see in the pictures, we hit the highlights of the city, visited Parliament Hill, The Canadian Museum of Civilization, and had a great dinner in the bustling Byward Market. Read more from Bridget and John.
