More than 1,000 graduates and guests participated in Alumni Reunion Weekend activities at St. Lawrence this past weekend. From all reports, our guests loved every minute of their time on campus! Visit the Reunion Photo Album to view a sampling of the scenes from the four days. Among the highlights of the weekend was the presentation of Alumni Citations to four outstanding graduates: Sanford Schram '71, Susan Talve '75, Barbara Philipp '75, Willie Janeway '85 and the Sol Feinstone Humanitarian Award to Nellie Coakley M'85. SLU Live!
Blog Update: Bridget Everly from Admissions offers great advice about the college admissions essay: How do you do yourself justice in an essay that must be one single spaced page or two pages double spaced? First, do yourself justice! Write the essay about YOU…or something that has meaning to YOU. While you may have a fantastic essay on the breeding habits of beetles or women’s roles in the founding of the American democracy, topics like this don’t let the admissions officers know about the most important aspect of your application which is…YOU.
