Wynonna Judd performed
it in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. New versions by
artists ranging from Josh Groban to Toby Keith to "High School
Musical" cast member Drew Seeley are among the top-selling holiday
songs on Amazon.com. And St. Lawrence University continues to benefit
from the enduring popularity of the song "I'll Be Home For Christmas," by

Book About NYS Government Available Online
Having been a professor
for over 34 years, St. Lawrence University Munsil Professor of Government
Emeritus Robert N. Wells Jr. says that people in New York State don't
know enough about the state's governmental organization and functions.
So Wells, about to finish up several terms as the mayor of Canton,
has written a book on the subject and put it online, making it widely

Athletics
Men's hockey won the rubber game of its season series with Route
11 Rival Clarkson 4-2 at Appleton Arena Saturday night. Women's
hockey won twice, over Yale and Brown. Women's basketball, playing
a grueling three games in three days and came away with a perfect
3-0 mark. The riding team stayed on top of the regional leader
board by placing second at Cazenovia.
