Speaking of blogs, six student bloggers are back at their keyboards, sharing their day-to-day lives at St. Lawrence. Visit our bloggers and read such entries as this from Mary Jane Sweetland, in Spain: I feel very at home with my host family, though it is difficult at times adjusting to a new culture. The eating schedule is very different- that´s probably the first thing you notice. We wake up, and eat breakfast and then my family doesn´t eat lunch (which is usually the biggest meal of the day) until Jesus comes home from work around 3:30 in the afternoon. Lunch is usually at least three courses. We eat a lot of potatoes, pork, and eggs. Most of the food is really good- I have to say my favorite dish is the tortilla espanola, which is similar to a thick omelet with potatoes and onions. Very delicious! Andrea even taught me how to make them! Read more...
