Krumhansl'06 visits campus to talk about her experiences at Woods Hole
It's not uncommon for recent graduates to feel all at sea, but for
Kira Krumhansl '06, of Amherst, NH, that's been a very good thing. She visited campus recently to talk about her work at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

Unser'08 and Schulenberg collaborate on prints, proceeds from sale to benefit Guatemalan organization
Last summer, Alexa Unser '08, a fine arts major from Bozeman, MT, and Assistant Professor of Fine Arts Melissa Schulenberg benefited from a St. Lawrence Center for International and Intercultural Studies grant to travel to Guatemala and volunteer for an organization Safe Passage. When they returned, they collaborated on a series of 10 prints about their experiences, and are making the prints available for sale, with all proceeds going to Safe Passage. There are 10 images, and the prints are for sale individually ($95) or as a suite of all ten prints in a hand-made portfolio case wrapped in Guatemala cloth ($1,000). Athletics News
The
women's hockey team upset No. 4 New Hampshire in a
rout, 6-2, in the NCAA Quarterfinals to advance to the Frozen Four
for the fourth straight year. The Saints will be the host team of the
event in Lake Placid, NY, March 15-18.
Come to a send-off pep rally on Wednesday, March 14 at 4:30 p.m. at Appleton Arena. University Communications is reprinting the Go Saints posters and will bring a supply to the Student Center by Tuesday morning, or you can pick up your sign in Vilas 201.
Men's hockey continued their
strong season
and reinforced their NCAA credentials by sweeping Colgate 6-1 and 5-1
in the ECAC Quarterfinals. The Saints play Quinnipiac in the semifinals
Friday, March 16, in Albany. The men's lacrosse team opened its
season with an impressive 7-5 victory over defending national champion
Cortland. Two Saint Lawrence track athletes participated
in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships, with Alyssa Pirinelli
'10 placing third and Geoff Grambo '08 placed 12th. For more, visit
