Reminder to Seniors: Senior Class Dinner with the Board of Trustees,

Keep
your eyes on the progress of construction through the Johnson
Hall of Science photo album, updated October 9, and visit the many
related news stories on our Web site about the sciences.
St. Lawrence received a challenge grant from the Kresge Foundation
last fall to help fund science facilities construction. In order to
meet the challenge, the University
must raise just over $4.1 million in new gifts and pledges for
the project by April 1, 2007. The University broke ground in May 2005
for the $36.9 million, state-of-the-art, environmentally sustainable
design for biology, chemistry, biochemistry, neuroscience and psychology. |
A
fireworks display on Friday, October 13, hosted by St. Lawrence University,
will celebrate the 2006-2007 academic year during trustee weekend.

be given by St. Lawrence University Class of 1978 graduate Gerald
Ross on Tuesday, October 17, at 7 p.m. in Bloomer Auditorium, Brown
Hall. For

Dream, Julius Caesar and Cyrano de Bergerac

A
feature story in the September 29 edition of The Washington
Post profiled Joseph Lekuton '91, M'94, a former teacher in
the Washington area who is now a member of the Kenyan Parliament.
The story included information about his education at St. Lawrence.
St. Lawrence University's Center for Teaching and Learning is included
in a new Educause E-Book, Learning Spaces.
