Baseball
won its first Liberty League Tournament championship and will play
in the NCAA Division III tournament for the first time since 1991.
The Saints beat Rochester, 17-0 as senior pitcher Josh White, the
tournament MVP, ran his scoreless innings streak to 37.6, second all-time
in Division III history, and beat Clarkson 8-6 on Andrew Engebretson’s
grand slam homer in the top of the ninth inning. The Saints will play
in the NCAA tournament beginning Wednesday.

Men’s
lacrosse lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament, 12-5 at
Geneseo on Saturday. The team made its first NCAA appearance since
1987 and opened the tournament with a win at Endicott College 13-10
on Wednesday, finishing the year with a 14-4 record. Read
