Workshops, film screenings and discussions are among the events
that will mark the celebration of National Foreign Language Week at
St. Lawrence University, March 4 through 12. Highlighting the importance
of language learning and promoting international experience and exposure
to different cultures, the events have been organized by the modern
languages and literatures department and the Center
for International and Intercultural Studies.

Richard F. Brush Art Gallery
at St. Lawrence University from Wednesday, March 1, through Thursday,
April 6. A lecture by exhibition curators Sabrina Gschwandtner and

Saint women's hockey star Gina Kingsbury '04 became the third Saint
athlete to earn an Olympic gold medal February 20, when she was part
of the Canadian women's hockey team's gold medal win over Sweden.
