Floyd stands out for two (at least) reasons: he kept everyone on campus warm all winter long, year after year; and he was a gentleman, kind and friendly to all.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Floyd's family.  I had the pleasure of knowing Floyd before I started my employment at St. Lawrence.  We used to bowl together every week when the bowling alley was in the Noble Center Basement.  Those were the good ole days.  He was always soft spoken and polite and I enjoyed conversations with him.

Sorry to hear of the passing of a great man.He was such a nice, polite individual you simply wanted to know him more. Its always hard to hear of the passing of the good guys. I'm sure we'll all miss you Floyd. I will.
