St. Lawrence Student Life
The Singing Saints, a men's a cappella group, started in the early 1950s and has performed around the nation and produced several albums and CDs, to popular acclaim.
The women singers on campus got together in 1953 to form the Singing Sinners and they, too, have recorded the repertoire and performed nationally.
Different scenes of recreation over the years: the Underground (left) in the Noble Center, was originally a bowling alley and is now a music rehearsal and performance space. Pick-up volleyball games take place throughout the fall and spring.
The social scene...dances in the 1950s and Java Barn performances in 2005.
Residence hall lounge life, then and now--the "now" photo is taken in one of the Steiner Senior Residences, townhouse-style living at the edge of the golf course adjacent to campus.
