Richardson
Hall: The first and for many years, the
only, building at St. Lawrence. Constructed in 1856,
Richardson housed classrooms, faculty offices and lodging
for students. Today, it's an academic building for
English and religious studies. Richardson is included
in the National Register of Historic Places. |

Herring-Cole
Hall: Built in two phases (Herring Library
in 1870, Cole Reading Room in 1903), today it is a
reading and study space and public presentation area.
It's also included in the National Register of Historic
Places and is built of Potsdam sandstone. |

Dean
Eaton Hall was built in 1926 as a residence hall
and renovated in 2000. Its stucco facade later inspired the
Steiner Senior Townhouses. |

Campus Aerial View : The photo at left is from the 1940s, showing
Vetsville, "barracks"-like structures intended to
house the large numbers of students returning to college after

War
II. Vetsville stood for 25 years, but is now the site of a
modern athletic complex.
