Family Weekend

We are happy to announce that Family Weekend 2012 will be held on Friday, September 21 through Sunday, September 23. We invite you to come and enjoy a weekend on campus exploring life at St. Lawrence as well as in the Canton community.

Pet Policy

Am I able to my pet on campus during Family Weekend?

The University does have a pet policy. Please read the policy as stated below:

Dogs, cats and other animal pets (with the exception of tropical fish) are not permitted in
campus buildings. They may be walked on campus but must be on a leash, as appropriate,
and can never be left unattended. This policy does not apply to the live animals used for
teaching and research in science departments or to the use of companion animals for
those with documented disabilities.

Family Weekend Meal Passes

Is there a way for our family to access meal passes to on-campus eateries?

During Family Weekend, registered guests will be provided with a meal pass to use for those meals that are included in the registration fee. Guests may purchase additional meal passes in advance for meals at Dana Dining Hall. For meals at the Northstar Cafe, or Pub 56 cash is accepted. Your St. Lawrence student should use his or her meal card for these meals since they are not included in the Family Weekend registration fee.

Emergency Contact during Family Weekend

What if there is an emergency during the weekend?

If you are on-campus and require assistance, please contact Safety and Security at 315-229-5555 (or if calling from an on-campus phone x5555).

To assist our staff in case we need to contact guests throughout the weekend, we collect emergency contact information at check-in/registration in the Student Center.
