This form should be completed by current first year, sophomore, and junior students as well as seniors who have applied for Optional Practical Training (OPT) before the end of the spring semester. Please indicate on the form below your anticipated physical address and the dates you will be at that address for the summer even if you plan to remain on campus. Please include the dates between which you will be at each address. Thank you!

International House is a theme floor that fosters intercultural understanding on campus through diverse events, trips and community building activities. I-House is located in Sykes 2600s.

Host Family Connections Program

The Host Family Connections Program is a cooperative, non-residential, endeavor between International Student Services and the local community which connects international students with local families who will support their experience here as well as enjoy the opportunity for cultural exchange.

Exploring the Canton Area

The village of Canton is located approximately 20 minutes from the St. Lawrence River which divides the United States from Canada, our neighbor to the north. It is also located about 30 minutes from the Adirondack State Park. The village of Canton has a quaint Main Street with local shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. Below you will find links to information about Canton and it's neighboring communities.

Academic Break Accommodations

Breaks During the Academic Year
During Mid-Semester break (October), Thanksgiving Break (November), Winter Break (December-January) and Spring Break (March) currently enrolled international students are able to stay on campus free of charge. Students wishing to stay during these periods should notify Residence Life prior to the break.
