Dr. Carol Bate

Assistant Dean of Student Life and Director of Career Services

Carol has been leading career services at St. Lawrence since the summer of 2001.  Her areas of career advising specialty include graduate school and pre-law advising and international student advising.  Before coming to St. Lawrence she worked in career services at Cornell College (Iowa) and in student activities at Thiel College. She also worked for several years in retail management.  Carol received her doctorate from the University of Iowa, her master of arts degree from Bowling Green State University, and her bachelor of arts degree from Allegheny College.

3M Breakout Session: Marketing and Sales

3M Company Information Session & How to Find Jobs and Internships

Many internship opportunities exist in smaller cities and even in small towns.  This presentation will provide some resources and strategies for finding opportunities that will allow you to live at home while getting some great experience on your resume.
