Reading Buddies

Pairs a St. Lawrence student with 3rd or 4th graders from St. Mary's School to encourage reading for enjoyment. Buddies meet once a week to spend 30 minutes taking turns reading a book, then 30 minutes playing a literacy-related game. We celebrate the semester's work with a movie event in Carnegie that brings the St. Mary's students to campus and provides a fun wrap-up to the program.
