Christopher Marquart

Assistant Dean of Student Life and Director of Residence Life

Chris was appointed as the Assistant Dean of Student Life and Director of Residence Life & Housing in the summer of 2012. His areas of interest include student retention and educational leadership. Before joining the residential program at St. Lawrence University he served as the Director of Residence Life at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont, and has experience in the areas of first-year programs, new student orientation, student conduct, and intercollegiate athletics. He received his bachelor of arts degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo, his master of education degree from St. Lawrence University, and is currently pursuing his doctorate from the University of Vermont. Chris lives in Canton with his wife and two dogs and enjoys running in his free time.
