Laura Ramsey
Laura was born in Ogdensburg, New York, and raised in Newark, New York, just southeast of Rochester.
From 1973-74, she attended the Canandaigua Community College of the Finger Lakes.
She relocated to the southern states in 1978. After working in the food services business for many years in both Florida and Georgia, she returned to the North Country in 1991. Laura attended a local college at Mater Dei from 1992-95, and received a Certificate in Secretarial Science and an Associate’s Degree in Court reporting.
Employed at SLU in the Department of Dining and Conference Services for over ten years, she now holds the title of Principle Clerk. Responsibilities focus on assisting with room reservations and special events. This includes assisting with dining services selections and venue setup logistics.
She was previously employed as a repair consultant specialist for a Telecommunications Company based out of Kanata Ontario, Canada.
