Think that the only way to get a great summer internship is to move to a major city? Think again! Many internship opportunities exist in smaller cities and even in small towns.  This presentation will provide some resources and strategies for finding opportunities that will allow you to live at home while getting some great experience on your resume.

This workshop is for any student who would like to get general information about how to find and apply for an internship.  This workshop is not geared towards any specific industries/fields, but should be viewed as a "starting point" informational meeting. This program will look in particular at how to find internships that are still available for the upcoming Summer 2013.  All class years are welcome!

At Boot Camp you will learn how to find internships that match your interests, choose a handful you actually want to apply for, tailor your resume to those internships, write a cover letter for a position, and be ready to apply!

 

You MUST have a resume created and revised by Career Services in order to participate! If you haven't been in already, schedule an appointment TODAY!

 

Finance Internships - Interviewing Workshop

This program will provide information about how to best prepare for an interview in the finance field. We will cover the types of questions and situations that make this type of interview different from interviews for internships in other fields. Any student who is interested in getting into the field of finance is welcome, but students with upcoming interviews are especially encouraged to attend.
