Hazard Communication Program/Right to Know Policy

To comply with the United States Department of Labor “Right-To-Know” law called the Hazard Communications Standard, 29CFR 1910.1200, and applicable New York State law, a hazard Communication Program has been established for St. Lawrence University.  The written program is available in the security and safety office, 76 Park Street for review by any interested employee.  Copies of material safety data sheets for all hazardous chemicals to which employees of the University may be exposed will be kept in the security and safety office.  Security and safety is responsible for coordinating the employee training program.
