Panhellenic Council

What is the Panhellenic Council?

The Panhellenic Council is a student-run governing, leadership, and programming body for the sororities at St. Lawrence. The Council is university member organization of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) and strives to further the values of the NPC and the St. Lawrence Greek system. The Council is comprised of executive board officers and chapter delegates who focus on promoting and creating an active sorority life on campus through addressing chapter issues, programming for Greek, SLU and Canton community members, and providing membership development opportunities.

Meeting Information: Meeting dates for the Fall 2014 semester will be determined when council members return. Please check back for updates.

What is the National Panhellenic Conference?

Members of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) are women’s fraternities, each of which is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society of college women, undergraduates and alumnae. NPC is an organization established to foster interfraternity relationships, to assist collegiate chapters of the NPC member groups, and to cooperate with colleges and universities in maintaining the highest scholastic and social standards.
