Friday, September 26 - Sunday, September 28th, 2014
Welcome, families! We are currently working on the schedule for this year's Family Weekend, which will be posted in July and updated frequently as events are added. Highlights include numerous sports events, concerts, open houses, and the Remington Arts Festival in downtown Canton.
Due to the limited number of hotels and other accomodations in the immediate area, we encourage families to make reservations early. Please see the links below under "Additional Resources" for a listing of regional hotels, motels, and B&Bs, as well as a list of local, private accommodations.
Registration fee: The cost to register for Family Weekend is $25 per family.
What the fee covers: Families who register are provided with a Family Weekend packet that includes everything you'll need to find your way around campus and the local community, including schedules, guides to local restaurants and worship services, and directions to local attractions. You'll also receive nametags that serve as all-access passes to the fitness center, numerous sports events, and the Continental Breakfast with President Fox on Saturday and Bagel Brunch on Sunday. Registered families also have the opportunity to pre-purchase meal passes to Dana Dining Center for your convenience. Additionally, the fee covers wages for our Family Weekend staff, a specially-trained group of students who work diligently throughout the weekend to answer your questions, provide directions, and ensure you have a pleasant stay on campus. The first 500 families to register will also receive a complimentary Family Weekend tote bag. In the event that there are still tote bags available after pre-registration closes, bags will be available for families who register on-site, or for those who wish to purchase extra bags, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pre-register here! Check back in early August for our online pre-registration form.
Here you'll find a preliminary schedule of the weekend's events. The schedule is not yet complete, and events will continue to be added as details are finalized through mid-August. Please note that the schedule is subject to change. View the Schedule
We are pleased to announce that the construction on Main Street in the village was completed in the fall of 2013. At this time we do not know of any construction projects within the immediate area that would cause detours or signifant delays; however updates will posted as we near the weekend. Please see the "Directions to Campus" link for directions from your area.
